I’m Lucy, founder of nest interior design. I’ve been working with clients for over 20 years to create homes which not only look beautiful but also function for the way they live. I will be your sounding board while you navigate the - often stressful - process of your house renovation and help you enjoy the process along the way.

Based in Manchester, working locally and across the UK on larger scale interior projects; think extensions, reconfigurations & full home redesigns. My clients tend to know how they want their home to look and feel but either aren’t clear on how to get there or simply don’t have the time, inclination or creativity to devote their evenings and weekends to making it happen.

Build projects are expensive, I help you get the most out of your budget and ensure you’re thrilled with the outcome. I support you at every stage of the project: considered space planning, the correct order of work for trades, expertly sourced items for furniture and lighting and a bespoke palette of colours & finishes.

Having worked on countless projects over the past 20+ years, there are very few interior design queries I won’t have covered off! My signature style is layering colour, pattern, texture and lighting to create spaces which feel personal and thoroughly relaxing, no perching on stiff sofas or matching your artwork to your walls. Every project is different and I pride myself on carefully tailoring each design to your brief.
